There was nothing quite like pulling into the drive-in as the sun was going down.
You’d find a spot, hang that speaker on the window, and settle in with a car full of friends or family while the parking lot slowly filled up around you. Somebody always ran to the concession stand for popcorn and came back complaining about how long the line was.
Before the movie even started, the radio was usually still playing, filling in the wait while everybody got comfortable and the sky finished turning dark. Kids ran between cars while their parents chatted with the family parked next to them. 5. Y.M.C.A. – Village People

Kids especially loved this one, running between cars while it played.

6. Reunited – Peaches & Herb
